Your bedroom should be a place to go and unwind at the end of the day, a retreat from the outside world that makes you feel relaxed and content. But that doesn't mean that your bedroom has to be done in boring neutral shades. Instead, pick colors that make you happy and express your personality.
The psychology of color pegs certain hues as relaxing, others as energizing, still others as aggressive. For instance, green, the color of nature, is relaxing while yellow, the color of sunshine, is associated with happiness.
